1. Accessing Pabbly Connect for Integration

To integrate YouTube with Google Sheets, start by accessing Pabbly Connect. Visit the Pabbly website and sign in. If you are a new user, click on the “Sign Up Free” button to create an account.

After logging in, navigate to the “Pabbly Connect” section. Here, you can create a new workflow that will automate the process of sending video details to Google Sheets whenever you upload a new video on YouTube.

2. Creating a New Workflow in Pabbly Connect

Once you are in Pabbly Connect, click on “Create New Workflow”. Name your workflow something descriptive, like “YouTube Video Data to Google Sheets”. Choose the appropriate folder for organization.

Click on “Create” to initiate the workflow.
You will then be prompted to add a trigger.
Select YouTube as the trigger application.

Next, choose the trigger event as “New Video in Channel with Video URL”. This will ensure that every time you upload a video, the data is sent to Google Sheets automatically.

3. Connecting YouTube to Pabbly Connect

In this step, you will connect your YouTube account to Pabbly Connect. Click on “Connect” and select “Sign in with Google”. Choose the Google account associated with your YouTube channel.

Once signed in, grant the necessary permissions for Pabbly Connect to access your YouTube data. After successful connection, you will see your Channel ID displayed in the interface. Click on “Save and Send Test Request” to confirm that the connection is working properly.

4. Adding Google Sheets as Action in Pabbly Connect

Now that you have connected YouTube, it is time to add Google Sheets as the action application in Pabbly Connect. Select Google Sheets and choose the action event as “Add New Row”.

Click on “Connect” and sign in with the Google account that has access to your desired spreadsheet.
Select the spreadsheet where you want to store your video details.
Map the fields for video title, link, and description to the corresponding columns in your spreadsheet.

After mapping the fields, click on “Save and Send Test Request” to ensure that data is correctly sent to Google Sheets. You should see the new row populated with your video details.

5. Finalizing the Integration and Testing

With both YouTube and Google Sheets connected through Pabbly Connect, it’s essential to finalize the integration. Set the polling interval for YouTube to check for new videos. A recommended setting is every 10 minutes.

After configuring the polling time, click on “Save”. This will ensure that Pabbly Connect checks for new videos at the specified interval and updates Google Sheets accordingly. Test the integration by uploading a new video to your YouTube channel and verify that the details appear in your Google Sheets.
