1. Accessing Pabbly Connect to Start Integration

To begin integrating your website forms with Kit, first access Pabbly Connect. Visit the Pabbly website by typing pabbly.com in your browser. Once there, you can either sign in if you are an existing user or sign up for free to get started.

After signing in, you will see the Pabbly apps page. Click on the Pabbly Connect option to access the app dashboard. Here, you can manage all your workflows and folders effectively.

2. Creating a New Workflow in Pabbly Connect

Once you are in the Pabbly Connect dashboard, create a new workflow. Click on the ‘Create Workflow’ button and name it as “Turn Website Visitors into Kit Subscribers Automatically”. Select the appropriate folder for this workflow.

  • Click on the ‘Create’ button to finalize the workflow creation.
  • This creates a new workflow that will automate the process of adding subscribers.

After creating the workflow, a box will appear asking for your trigger application. The trigger is the event that starts the automation. Here, you will select Webhook by Pabbly as your trigger application.

3. Setting Up the Trigger in Pabbly Connect

In the next step, select the ‘Catch Webhook’ event and click on ‘Connect’. This will generate a unique webhook URL that you will use to connect your website form with Pabbly Connect.

Copy the generated webhook URL and insert it into your website form code. This URL acts as the bridge between your form and Pabbly Connect. Ensure you save the changes to your form code after adding the webhook URL.

4. Testing the Webhook Connection

After setting up the webhook URL, return to your Pabbly Connect workflow. You will see a message saying it is waiting for a webhook response. To test the connection, submit a test entry through your website form.

  • Enter a name, email address, and phone number in the form.
  • Click on ‘Submit’ to send the test data.

Once submitted, check back in your Pabbly Connect workflow to see if the response has been captured. If successful, you will see the details of your submission, confirming that the connection is working correctly.

5. Creating a Subscriber in Kit via Pabbly Connect

Now that the webhook is set up and tested, it’s time to create a subscriber in your Kit account. Select Kit v4 as your action application and choose the ‘Insert or Update Subscriber by Email’ action event. Click on ‘Connect’ to link your Kit account with Pabbly Connect.

Once connected, map the fields from the webhook response to the corresponding fields in Kit. This includes the email address and first name. If necessary, use the text formatter by Pabbly to split names into first and last names before mapping.

This tutorial demonstrated how to integrate website forms with Kit using Pabbly Connect. By following the steps outlined, you can automate subscriber creation seamlessly, enhancing your marketing efforts.
