1. Accessing Pabbly Connect for Automation

To start automating your Discord notifications, you need to access Pabbly Connect. Open your browser and navigate to pabbly.com/connect. This will take you to the Pabbly Connect homepage.

If you are a new user, click on “Sign Up for Free” to receive 300 tasks every month. Existing users can simply sign in. Once signed in, navigate to the Pabbly Connect dashboard to begin creating your workflow.

2. Creating a Workflow in Pabbly Connect

After accessing the dashboard, you will need to create a new workflow using Pabbly Connect. Click on “Access Now” under the Pabbly Connect option. Choose the quick builder method to set up your workflow efficiently.

To automate notifications, you’ll first set up an RSS feed as the trigger in Pabbly Connect. Choose “RSS by Pabbly” as the application and enter the feed URL from which you want to capture updates.

For example, you can use the Hindu latest RSS feed. After copying the feed URL, paste it into the designated field in Pabbly Connect. Select the default filter type and click on “Save and Send Test Request” to capture the latest feed item.

4. Connecting Discord as an Action in Pabbly Connect

After successfully capturing the RSS feed, you need to set Discord as the action in Pabbly Connect. Select “Discord” as your application and choose to add a new connection. This will prompt you to authorize Pabbly Connect to access your Discord account.

Next, you will need to set up a webhook in your Discord channel. Go to your Discord channel settings, select “Integrations,” and then “Webhooks.” Create a new webhook and copy the URL provided. Paste this URL back into Pabbly Connect, ensuring you extract the webhook ID and token correctly.

5. Finalizing Your Automation in Pabbly Connect

With the webhook set up, you can now finalize your automation. In Pabbly Connect, configure the message text that will be sent to your Discord channel whenever a new RSS feed item is captured. Use dynamic mapping to insert the title, summary, and URL of the article into the message.

Once you have set all fields, click on “Save and Send Request” to test the automation. A successful response indicates that your new article notification has been sent to Discord. You can verify this by checking your Discord channel for the new message.
