1. Accessing Pabbly Connect for WhatsApp Integration

To automate WhatsApp messages after successful payments, you need to access Pabbly Connect. Start by visiting the Pabbly Connect homepage at pabbly.com/connect. Here, you can either sign in to your existing account or sign up for a free account, which offers 100 free tasks monthly.

Once logged in, you will be directed to the workflow page. This is where you can create your automation. Click on the option to add a trigger, which is the first step in setting up your integration.

2. Setting Up the Trigger in Pabbly Connect

In this step, you will set up the trigger for your automation using Pabbly Connect. The trigger application is Razor Pay, which initiates the workflow when a payment is captured. Select Razor Pay as your trigger application and choose the event “Payment Captured”.

Click on the connect button to receive the webhook URL.

Copy the webhook URL provided by Pabbly Connect. This URL will be used in your Razor Pay account to link the two applications together.

3. Configuring Webhook in Razor Pay

Now, navigate to your Razor Pay account to configure the webhook using the URL you copied from Pabbly Connect. On the sidebar, find the “Developers” option and select “Webhooks”. Here, you can add a new webhook.

Paste the copied webhook URL and set the event to “Payment Captured”. After saving, your webhook will be configured to trigger whenever a payment is made.

Go back to Pabbly Connect, where it will be waiting for a response from the webhook. To test this, you need to make a test payment through Razor Pay.

4. Testing the Integration with a Sample Payment

To verify that the integration works, you will perform a test payment using Razor Pay. Fill in the required details such as email, phone number, and product details. Select your payment method and complete the transaction.

Once the payment is successful, return to Pabbly Connect. You should see the response from Razor Pay, confirming that the payment details have been received. This response will include the payment amount and other relevant details.

Next, you will use this data to send a WhatsApp message to the customer, confirming their payment.

5. Sending WhatsApp Messages via Pabbly Connect

For sending the confirmation message, you will use the WhatsApp Cloud API through Pabbly Connect. Select the app event “Send Text Message”. You will need to connect your WhatsApp account by entering the required API details.

Enter the token, phone number ID, and WhatsApp business account ID.
Map the recipient’s mobile number and payment details into the message template.
Click on “Save and Send Test Request” to send the message.

After sending the test message, check your WhatsApp account to confirm that the payment confirmation message has been successfully received. This completes your automation process using Pabbly Connect.
