1. Accessing Pabbly Connect for Integration

To start using Pabbly Connect, open a new tab and type in pabbly.com/connect. This will take you to the landing page for Pabbly Connect, the central platform for integrating various applications like WhatsApp and Google Sheets.

If you’re new, click on “Sign Up for Free” to create an account. Existing users can simply click “Sign In”. Once logged in, you will see the dashboard where you can create and manage your workflows.

2. Creating a Workflow in Pabbly Connect

Once you are on the dashboard of Pabbly Connect, click on the “Create Workflow” button. You can either build from scratch or use the Quick Workflow Builder. For this tutorial, we will use the Quick Workflow Builder.

Type in your prompt: “Connect Google Sheets with WhatsApp”.
Select the trigger event as “Send Template Message”.
Click “Approve and Create” to set up your workflow.

Your workflow is now created, and you will need to establish connections to Google Sheets and WhatsApp using Pabbly Connect to send messages automatically.

3. Connecting Google Sheets to Pabbly Connect

To connect Google Sheets, you will need the webhook URL provided by Pabbly Connect. This URL acts as a bridge between Google Sheets and WhatsApp.

Copy the webhook URL and navigate to your Google Sheets. Click on “Extensions”, select “Pabk FBX”, and then go to “Initial Setup”. Paste the webhook URL in the designated field and specify the trigger column, which is the last updated column of your spreadsheet.

Ensure you enable the “Send on Event” option.
Click “Send Test” to verify the connection.
Submit to save the setup.

Once the test is successful, you will see that your Google Sheets is now connected to Pabbly Connect, allowing it to capture data automatically.

4. Sending WhatsApp Messages via Pabbly Connect

Next, you will connect your WhatsApp account via Pabbly Chatflow. Click on the “Connect” button in your workflow and select the option to add a new connection.

For this, you will need your API token. Go to your Pabbly account settings, navigate to “API and Webhooks”, and copy your API token. Paste this token back into Pabbly Connect to establish the connection.

Map the recipient’s mobile number from the Google Sheets data.
Select the message template you wish to use.
Test the message sending to ensure everything works correctly.
