1. Accessing Pabbly Connect for Integration

To start using Pabbly Connect for automating WhatsApp notifications for your Shopify orders, visit pabbly.com/connect. Here, you’ll find options for both new and existing users. If you’re new, click on “Sign up for free” to get 300 tasks per month.

Once signed in, navigate to the “All Pabbly Apps” window and select Pabbly Connect. This will take you to the dashboard where you can create a new workflow to automate your processes.

2. Creating a Workflow in Pabbly Connect

In Pabbly Connect, click on “Create Workflow”. You can choose to create from scratch or use the quick builder. For this tutorial, we will use the quick builder. Describe your workflow, such as “When I get a new order from Shopify, send WhatsApp message via Pabbly Chatflow”.

Select the trigger as “New Order” from Shopify.
Choose the action to “Send Text Message” via Pabbly Chatflow.

Review the workflow preview, then select “Approve and Create” to finalize your workflow. You’ll now receive a workflow link to use for testing.

3. Setting Up the Trigger for Shopify Orders

To connect Shopify with Pabbly Connect, you will need to set up a webhook URL. Copy the provided webhook URL from your Pabbly Connect dashboard.

Log in to your Shopify account and go to “Settings” > “Notifications”. Here, you can add a new webhook by selecting “Order Creation” as the event and choosing JSON as the format. Paste the webhook URL and click “Save” to complete the setup.

4. Testing the Integration with a Test Order

After setting up the webhook, it’s time to test the integration. Go back to your Shopify store and place a test order. Use dummy details to complete the purchase.

Once the order is placed, return to Pabbly Connect to see if you receive the order details in your workflow. If successful, you will see the order information displayed on your Pabbly dashboard.

5. Sending WhatsApp Messages via Pabbly Chatflow

Now that the trigger is set, you can configure the action to send a WhatsApp message. In Pabbly Connect, select the WhatsApp number to which you want to send the message and map the customer details from the previous step.

Personalize the message with the customer’s name.
Include a discount coupon code for the next purchase.

After configuring the message, click on “Save and Send Test Request”. If everything is set up correctly, you will see a confirmation message in your WhatsApp chat, indicating that the automation is successfully working.
