1. Setting Up Pabbly Connect for Automation

To automate WhatsApp reminders, start by accessing Pabbly Connect. Log in to your account and navigate to the Workflow Builder. This is where you will create the automation process.

Click on the “Add Trigger” button to begin. For the trigger application, select Google Sheets, and for the event, choose “New or updated spreadsheet row”. After clicking “Connect”, you will receive a Webhook URL.

2. Configuring Google Sheets with Pabbly Connect

Once you have the Webhook URL from Pabbly Connect, open your Google Sheet. Go to “Extensions”, then “Add-ons”, and select “Get add-ons”. Search for “Pabbly Connect Webhooks” and install it.

Next, return to Pabbly Connect and add a delay action. Select “Delay Until” and input the date for the first reminder, which is October 10th. Ensure you format the date in UTC.

After setting the delay, add a new action to send a WhatsApp message using Pabbly Chatbot. For this, select “Send Text Message” and connect your Pabbly Chatbot account. You will need to enter your API token found in the Pabbly Chatbot settings.

Click “Save and Send Test Request” to confirm that the message is sent successfully to the recipient.

To send additional reminders, copy the delay and WhatsApp message steps you created earlier. Change the delay to two days for the second reminder, and update the message content accordingly.

Repeat this process for the third reminder, adjusting the delay and message details as necessary. Ensure all messages are formatted correctly and include any dynamic data needed from your Google Sheet.

Finalize your workflow by testing each step. Make sure that each reminder is sent at the correct time and contains the right information for each participant.
