1. Accessing Pabbly Connect for Integration
To begin integrating Just Dial and Twilio, access Pabbly Connect by navigating to pabby.com/connect in your browser. Here, you will find options to either sign in or sign up for a free account.
If you are a new user, click on the “Sign Up Free” option to receive 300 tasks every month. Existing users can simply sign in. Once you are logged in, access Pabbly Connect from the Pabbly Apps window by selecting “Access Now” to reach the dashboard.
2. Creating a Workflow in Pabbly Connect
After accessing Pabbly Connect, the next step is to create a workflow. You have two options: create from scratch or use the AI workflow builder. For this integration, select the AI option and describe your workflow as “When I get a new lead from Just Dial, send SMS via Twilio”.
- Select the trigger as “New Lead” from Just Dial.
- Choose the action “Send SMS Message” from Twilio.
- Review your workflow and click “Approve and Create”.
Once approved, you will receive a workflow link. This link allows you to manage the integration between Just Dial and Twilio using Pabbly Connect.
3. Setting Up the Trigger in Pabbly Connect
The automation process relies on triggers and actions. The trigger you set up will initiate the SMS sending process. You will receive a webhook URL that needs to be configured in your Just Dial account.
Since Just Dial does not allow direct webhook configuration through its user interface, copy the webhook URL and send it to your Just Dial backend team. This step is crucial for receiving new leads into Pabbly Connect.
After sending the webhook URL, wait for a response. Once you receive a successful response, you will see details like the first name, last name, email, and contact number of the new lead. This confirms that the trigger has been set up correctly.
4. Configuring Twilio in Pabbly Connect
With the trigger set, the next step is to configure Twilio within Pabbly Connect. To do this, you will need your Twilio account SID, authorization token, and Twilio phone number.
Access your Twilio console to retrieve these details. Once you have them, paste the account SID and authorization token into the respective fields in your Pabbly Connect workflow. Ensure that you save these settings to establish the connection.
Next, you will need to set up the SMS body. In the SMS body field, you can personalize your message. Use the mapping feature to insert the lead’s name dynamically, ensuring that each SMS sent is personalized based on the lead’s data.
5. Testing the Integration with Pabbly Connect
After configuring Twilio, it’s time to test the integration. Click on the “Save and Send Test Request” button in Pabbly Connect. Before doing this, ensure that you replace any dummy numbers with actual phone numbers where you want to send the SMS.
Upon clicking the button, you should receive a confirmation that the SMS has been sent successfully. Check your phone to verify receipt of the SMS, which will include the personalized message you set up earlier.
Once confirmed, your automation is complete. This integration allows you to send instant SMS notifications to new leads from Just Dial via Twilio, all facilitated by Pabbly Connect.
