1. Accessing Pabbly Connect for Automation

To start automating feedback responses, first access Pabbly Connect. If you are a new user, visit pabbly.com/connect and sign up for free. This allows you to explore the platform with 100 tasks per month, enabling you to send automated emails.

Once logged in, navigate to the workflow builder in Pabbly Connect. This interface is crucial for setting up your triggers and actions, which will automate the email notifications whenever a feedback form is submitted.

2. Setting Up Typeform as the Trigger in Pabbly Connect

In this section, we will set Typeform as the trigger application in Pabbly Connect. Click on the “Add Trigger” button and select Typeform from the list of applications. Choose the event as “New Entry” to capture responses from your feedback form.

  • Select “Add New Connection” if you haven’t connected Typeform yet.
  • Log in to your Typeform account and grant Pabbly Connect the necessary permissions.
  • Choose the specific feedback form you want to automate.

After setting up the connection, click on “Save and Send Test Request”. This will wait for a webhook response, which will be triggered when the form is submitted. Ensure you have the Typeform ready for testing.

3. Capturing Feedback Responses through Pabbly Connect

Now that Typeform is set up as a trigger, we need to capture the feedback responses. Fill in the feedback form with sample data, such as the name “Jane User” and a satisfaction rating of five stars. After submitting the form, Pabbly Connect will capture this response and display it in the workflow.

Make sure to check the captured data in Pabbly Connect. This data will be used in the next steps to generate an automated email response. The key here is that this automation will send emails based on the feedback received through Typeform.

4. Generating Email Content Using OpenAI in Pabbly Connect

Next, we will use OpenAI to generate a personalized email response based on the feedback received. Click on “Add New Action Step” and select OpenAI as the application. Choose the event as “ChatGPT” and connect it to Pabbly Connect.

  • If you haven’t connected OpenAI yet, create a new connection using your API key.
  • Select the AI model and input the prompt for generating the email.
  • Map the feedback details dynamically to personalize the email response.

After setting up the prompt, click on “Save and Send Test Request” to generate the email content. Ensure that you receive the desired HTML email response from OpenAI, which will be used in the next step.

5. Sending the Generated Email via Gmail with Pabbly Connect

Finally, we will send the generated email using Gmail. Add a new action step and select Gmail as the application. Choose the event as “Send Email” and connect it to Pabbly Connect.

Enter the sender’s name and email address, and for the recipient’s email, map the email address captured from the Typeform response. Set the email content type to HTML and paste the subject line. Click on “Save and Send Test Request” to send the email.

Check your Gmail inbox to confirm that the automated email has been received. This completes the setup, and every time someone submits the feedback form, they will automatically receive an email response, showcasing the power of Pabbly Connect in automating tasks.

In this tutorial, we successfully integrated Typeform and Gmail using Pabbly Connect to automate feedback responses. With this setup, you can enhance customer engagement and streamline communication effectively.
