1. Setting Up the Integration Between See and All
To integrate See with All, you need to start by visiting paby.com/connect. This will direct you to the homepage of Pabi Connect, where you can sign up or log in if you are an existing user. If you are a new user, you can sign up for free and get 100 tasks every month.
Once logged in, you will access the Pabi apps window. From here, click on “Access Now” to enter the Pabi Connect dashboard. This is where you will build your automation workflow for receiving notifications from your Shopify store.
2. Creating a Workflow with Make
To create a workflow in Make, select “Create from Scratch”. This method allows you to build your workflow step-by-step. When prompted, describe your automation request: “When a new order comes in from Shopify, send an SMS via Twilio”.
- Select the trigger as “New Order” from Shopify.
- Choose the action as “Send SMS Message” from Twilio.
After confirming your choices, approve and create the workflow. You will receive a workflow link, which indicates that the integration has been successfully set up.
3. Setting Up the Shopify Webhook
To connect your Shopify account with Pabi Connect, you need to set up a webhook. Copy the webhook URL provided in Pabi Connect. Then, log into your Shopify account and navigate to Settings > Notifications.
In the Notifications section, select “Create Webhook”. Choose the event as “Order Creation”, set the format to JSON, and paste the copied webhook URL. Make sure to select the latest API version before saving the webhook.
4. Testing the Integration
After setting up the webhook, you need to test the integration. Create a test order in your Shopify store by selecting a product and proceeding to checkout. Enter dummy customer details for the test order.
Once the payment is successful, return to Pabi Connect. You should see a successful response with the customer details. This confirms that your trigger is set up correctly.
5. Sending SMS Notifications via Twilio
Next, configure the SMS settings in Pabi Connect. You will need your Twilio account SID and authorization token, which can be found in your Twilio console. Copy these details into the respective fields in Pabi Connect.
For the SMS body, enter a message that includes the customer name and order ID. Use mapping to dynamically insert these details from the previous step. After entering your Twilio phone number as the sender, save the settings and send a test request.
Conclusion
This tutorial demonstrates how to integrate See with All using Make to automate SMS notifications for new Shopify orders. By following these steps, you can streamline your order management process effectively.
