1. Accessing Pabbly Connect for Invoice Automation

To automate invoice creation between Shopify and Zero, start by accessing Pabbly Connect. Open your browser and enter the URL pabbly.com/connect. This will take you to the Pabbly Connect homepage.

If you’re a new user, you’ll need to sign up for a free account. Existing users can simply sign in. Pabbly Connect offers a free trial, allowing you to explore its features without any initial investment.

2. Setting Up Shopify as the Trigger Application

In this step, you will set Shopify as the trigger application in Pabbly Connect. Once you are logged in, navigate to the workflow page and select Shopify as your trigger application.

Select the trigger event as “New Order”.
Click the “Connect” button.
Copy the generated webhook URL.

This webhook URL will be used to connect Shopify with Pabbly Connect. Make sure to keep this URL handy as it will be essential for the next steps.

3. Configuring Webhook in Shopify

4. Creating an Invoice in Zero

Once Shopify is set up, return to Pabbly Connect to create an invoice in Zero. For this, select Zero as your action application.

Choose the action event as “Create Invoice” and click the “Connect” button. You will be prompted to allow access to your Zero account. Ensure you are logged into Zero to facilitate this process.

Next, select your organization from the dropdown and fill in the required fields using mapping from the Shopify response. This includes customer name, email, and order details.

5. Testing and Verifying Invoice Creation

After mapping all necessary fields, click on the “Save and Send Test Request” button in Pabbly Connect. This action will send the data to Zero and create the invoice.

To verify, go back to your Zero account and refresh the invoices page. You should see the newly created invoice reflecting the order details from Shopify.
