To start creating an automated AI assistant, access Pabbly Connect by visiting pabbly.com/chatbot. If you’re a new user, sign up for a free account to receive 100 free credits each month.

Once you log in, you will be directed to the dashboard of Pabbly Connect. Here, you can explore various features, including the AI assistant setup. Click on the AI Assistant option on the left menu to begin.

2. Creating Your AI Assistant with Pabbly Connect

After accessing the AI Assistant page in Pabbly Connect, click on the “Add AI Assistant” button. This is the first step in setting up your automated assistant.

Click on the “Add AI Assistant” button.
Enter a descriptive name for your assistant, such as “AI Fiber Connection Request”.
Click the “Add AI Assistant” button to confirm.

Your AI Assistant is now created successfully. This marks the starting point for configuring its behavior and responses.

Select the model provider as OpenAI.
Choose the AI model variant, like GPT-4 or mini.
Paste your OpenAI API key to connect.

After entering the API key, click the “Connect” button. You will receive a confirmation that the OpenAI key is saved successfully, allowing your assistant to utilize AI capabilities.

4. Setting Up Knowledge Source in Pabbly Connect

To enhance your AI Assistant’s responses, you need to upload a knowledge base file that contains information relevant to your business. This is crucial for providing accurate replies.

Click on the “Add New File” button to upload your knowledge base. Ensure that the file is formatted correctly, as it serves as the brain of your AI assistant. You can create this file using Google Docs or any text application.

The file size should be less than 90 MB.
Text PDF files can have no page limit, but image PDFs are limited to 10 pages.

Once you upload the file, your AI Assistant will be trained with the knowledge base, allowing it to provide business-specific responses.

5. Finalizing Your AI Assistant in Pabbly Connect

In this final step, configure the interface and activate your AI Assistant. You can customize its appearance by changing the heading, subheading, and initial messages.

After customizing the design, enable the assistant by toggling the activation switch. Click on the “Save AI Assistant” button to complete the setup process.

You can also embed the AI Assistant in your website using the provided code.
