1. Accessing Pabbly Connect for Integration

To start integrating Instagram and Telegram, you first need to access Pabbly Connect. Open a new tab and type in the URL: pabbly.com/connect. This will take you to the Pabbly Connect homepage.

Once there, you will see options to sign in or sign up. If you are a new user, click on “Sign Up Free” to create your account. Existing users can simply log in. Pabbly Connect offers a free trial, so take advantage of it to explore its features.

2. Setting Up Instagram as the Trigger Application

In this step, you will set Instagram as the trigger application in Pabbly Connect. After signing in, navigate to your workflow page. Click on “Create Workflow” and select Instagram for Business as your trigger application.

Choose “New Media Posted” as the event.
Build the connection by clicking on “Add New Connection”.
Log in to your Facebook account linked to Instagram.

Once connected, select your Instagram account and proceed to save the connection. This setup allows Pabbly Connect to fetch new posts from your Instagram account automatically.

3. Creating a New Instagram Post

Now, create a new post on your Instagram account. Add an image and a caption to your post. Once done, click on “Share” to publish it.

After sharing, return to Pabbly Connect and click on “Save and Send Test Request”. This will fetch the latest post details, including the media URL and caption. Ensure that the trigger time is set correctly to check for new posts every 10 minutes.

4. Setting Up Telegram as the Action Application

Next, you will set Telegram as the action application in Pabbly Connect. Select Telegram and choose the event “Send Text Message”. Build the connection by entering the token generated from your Telegram bot.

Create a new bot using BotFather on Telegram.
Copy the token provided by BotFather.
Add the bot to a group and grant it admin permissions.

Once the connection is established, enter the chat ID and the message you want to send. Use mapping to dynamically insert the Instagram post’s caption and URL into the message.

5. Testing the Integration

Finally, test the integration by clicking “Save and Send Request” in Pabbly Connect. This action will send the message containing your Instagram post’s details to your Telegram group.

Check your Telegram account to confirm that the message has been received. You should see the caption and a link to your Instagram post, indicating that the integration is successful. This automation will help you notify your community about new posts automatically.
