Once on the homepage, you will see options to sign in or sign up for free. If you are a new user, click on the sign-up button to create an account. Existing users can log in directly. Pabbly Connect now offers a free trial, so take advantage of it to explore its features.

2. Create a Workflow in Pabbly Connect

After signing in, you will be directed to the workflow page in Pabbly Connect. Here, you need to select your trigger application. In this case, choose Shopify to initiate the workflow whenever a new order is placed.

  • Select ‘Shopify’ as the trigger application.
  • Choose ‘New Order’ as the app event.
  • Click on the ‘Connect’ button to generate a webhook URL.

Copy the webhook URL provided by Pabbly Connect. This URL will be used to connect Shopify with Pabbly Connect for fetching order details automatically.

3. Set Up Webhook in Shopify

Next, navigate to your Shopify account to set up the webhook. In your Shopify dashboard, go to the settings and select the notifications option from the sidebar. Here, you will find the webhooks section.

  • Click on ‘Create Webhook’.
  • Select ‘Order Creation’ as the event type.
  • Paste the webhook URL copied from Pabbly Connect and save it.

Once saved, Shopify will now send order data to Pabbly Connect whenever a new order is created, allowing you to automate order management seamlessly.

4. Test the Webhook Connection

To ensure that the webhook connection is working, create a test order on your Shopify store. Fill out the checkout page with the required details and complete the payment. This action will trigger the webhook.

Return to Pabbly Connect and check if the webhook response has been received. You should see the order details populated, confirming that the connection is successful. This includes the customer’s name, email, and product details.

5. Add Order Data to Google Sheets

Now that the webhook is working, you can set up an action application in Pabbly Connect to add the order data to Google Sheets. Select Google Sheets as your action application and choose ‘Add New Row’ as the app event.

Connect your Google account to Pabbly Connect and select the spreadsheet where you want to store the order data. You will map the fields from the Shopify order response to the corresponding columns in your Google Sheet. This process ensures that every new order is automatically recorded without manual input.

  • Map customer name, email, and product details from the Shopify response.
  • Click on ‘Save and Send Test Request’ to validate.

If successful, the order data will appear in your Google Sheet. This integration allows you to manage orders efficiently, freeing you from manual data entry.
