1. Accessing Pabbly Connect for Integration

To start integrating YouTube with Telegram, you need to access Pabbly Connect. First, visit the Pabbly website by typing pabyt.com in your browser.

Once on the website, you will see options to sign in or sign up. If you’re a new user, click on “Sign up for free” to get 100 free tasks monthly. Existing users can click “Sign in” to access their account. After logging in, navigate to the Pabbly Connect dashboard to begin creating your workflow.

2. Creating a Workflow in Pabbly Connect

In the Pabbly Connect dashboard, click on “Create Workflow” and select “Create from scratch”. Name your workflow something descriptive, like “Automatically Share New YouTube Videos to Telegram”.

  • Select a folder for your workflow, such as “YouTube Automation”.
  • Click on “Create” to initialize the workflow.

Your workflow is now created successfully, and you will see a prompt to set up your trigger application. This is the first step in automating the sharing process.

3. Setting the Trigger for YouTube

To set the trigger, you will choose YouTube as your trigger application in Pabbly Connect. Select the event “New Video in Channel” to trigger the workflow whenever a new video is uploaded to your YouTube channel.

After selecting the trigger, connect your YouTube account by clicking “Connect”. If you already have a connection, simply save it. Otherwise, click “Add New Connection” and sign in using your Google account associated with YouTube.

  • Grant the necessary permissions to Pabbly Connect.
  • Enter your YouTube channel ID to finalize the connection.

Once your YouTube account is connected, you can test the trigger to ensure it retrieves the latest video data correctly.

4. Adding Telegram as an Action Step

After setting up your YouTube trigger, the next step is to add Telegram as your action application in Pabbly Connect. Click on “Add New Action Step” and search for Telegram.

Select the action event “Send a Text Message”. If you have an existing Telegram connection, save it. If not, create a new connection by entering your Telegram bot token.

  • To get the token, use the BotFather on Telegram to create a new bot.
  • Follow the BotFather’s instructions to obtain your bot token.

Once you have the token, paste it into Pabbly Connect. You will also need to enter the chat ID of your Telegram channel where the video notifications will be sent.

5. Finalizing Your Workflow

With both YouTube and Telegram configured, you can now finalize your workflow in Pabbly Connect. Enter the message details for your Telegram notification, mapping the video title and URL from the YouTube trigger response.

To ensure dynamic messaging, avoid manually entering static text. Instead, map the fields to automatically update with each new video uploaded. After mapping the necessary fields, click “Save and Send Test Request” to test the integration.

  • Check your Telegram channel for the message.
  • Make sure the message includes the correct video title and link.

If everything works correctly, your integration between YouTube and Telegram using Pabbly Connect is complete, allowing automatic sharing of new videos!
