1. Accessing Pabbly Connect for Automation

To start automating your social media posts, you need to access Pabbly Connect. Open your browser and go to pab.com/connect. Here, you will find options to either sign in or sign up for free.

If you are a new user, click on ‘Sign up for free’ to get started. Existing users can simply sign in. Once logged in, you can access all Pabbly applications, including Pabbly Connect.

2. Creating a Workflow in Pabbly Connect

After accessing Pabbly Connect, you need to create a new workflow. Click on ‘Access Now’ to enter the dashboard. Here, you can choose to create a workflow from scratch, using AI, or with a quick builder. For this tutorial, select the quick builder option.

  • Choose the trigger as “When a new post is shared on Facebook”.
  • Set the action to “Share simple text on LinkedIn”.

After configuring these settings, click on ‘Approve and Create’. This sets up your workflow, allowing you to automate the posting process between Facebook and LinkedIn using Pabbly Connect.

3. Setting Up Trigger with Facebook

In this step, you will set up the trigger for your workflow using Pabbly Connect. Click on ‘Connect with Facebook Pages’. You will be prompted to choose your Facebook account. Select your desired account and click ‘Continue’.

Next, select the Facebook page you want to automate. For this tutorial, we will use a page named “Digital Dynamics”. After selecting the page, choose the response format as “Simple” and click on ‘Save and Send Test Request’. This will prepare Pabbly Connect to receive data from your Facebook page.

4. Testing the Integration with a Facebook Post

To test your integration, create a new post on your Facebook page. Add the content you wish to share and publish the post. Once the post is live, return to Pabbly Connect to check if the trigger has captured the new post.

You should see the details of the new post reflected in Pabbly Connect. This confirms that the trigger is set up correctly and ready to share content on LinkedIn. Now, you can proceed to set up the LinkedIn action in your workflow.

5. Sharing the Facebook Post on LinkedIn

Now that the trigger is working, it’s time to set up the action to share the post on LinkedIn. In Pabbly Connect, click on ‘Connect with LinkedIn’. You will need to sign in to your LinkedIn account to establish the connection.

After signing in, select the author for the post and map the content from the Facebook post to the LinkedIn post. Instead of entering the content manually, use the mapping feature to insert the data from the previous step. Set the visibility to “Public” and click on ‘Save’. This will ensure that your new LinkedIn post mirrors the content shared on Facebook.
