1. Accessing Pabbly Connect for Integration

To start integrating WooCommerce with Google Sheets and WhatsApp, first access Pabbly Connect. Open your browser and type in pabby.com to reach the Pabbly homepage.

Once there, you can either sign in if you’re an existing user or sign up for free if you’re new. Signing up gives you some tasks to try out the platform before committing to a paid plan.

2. Creating a Workflow in Pabbly Connect

After signing in, navigate to the Pabbly Connect dashboard. Here, click on “Create Workflow” to start building your automation. Name your workflow something like “Automatically Send WooCommerce Order Confirmation and Save Orders to Google Sheets”.

Select the folder for your workflow.
Choose WooCommerce as the trigger application.
Set the trigger event to “New Order Created”.

Click on “Connect” to establish a connection between Pabbly Connect and WooCommerce. A webhook URL will be provided, which acts as a bridge for the integration.

4. Capturing Order Details and Sending to Google Sheets

After setting up the webhook, place a test order in your WooCommerce store to capture the order details. This will confirm that the connection is working correctly.

Next, in Pabbly Connect, select Google Sheets as your action application. Choose the action event as “Add New Row” and click on “Connect”. If you don’t have an existing connection, create a new one by signing in with your Google account.

Select the spreadsheet you created for WooCommerce orders.
Map the order details to the corresponding fields in your spreadsheet.

After mapping, hit “Save” and send a test request to ensure the data is being added to your Google Sheets correctly.

5. Sending a WhatsApp Message Using Pabbly Connect

To send a personalized WhatsApp message to the customer, add a new action step in Pabbly Connect and select Pabbly Chatflow as the action application. Choose to send a text message.

Map the customer’s phone number and include a message template that confirms their order. Make sure to format the phone number correctly by removing any plus signs as instructed in the help desk.

Once you’ve set up the message, hit “Save” and send a test request. Check your WhatsApp to confirm that the message has been received, ensuring the entire workflow is functioning as intended.
