1. Access Pabbly Connect for Integration
To start the process of sending WhatsApp order confirmations through Razorpay, you first need to access Pabbly Connect. Open a new tab and type in the URL pabbly.com/connect. This will take you to the Pabbly Connect landing page, where you can sign up or log in if you’re an existing user.
Once you are on the landing page, you will see options to either Pabbly Connect for free or sign in if you already have an account. If you are new, click on the Sign Up for Free button to create your account. Pabbly Connect allows you to automate workflows without any coding skills, making it an efficient tool for your business.
2. Create a New Workflow in Pabbly Connect
After logging into Pabbly Connect, you will be directed to the dashboard. Here, click on the Create Workflow button to set up a new automation. You can either start from scratch or use the quick workflow builder feature. For this tutorial, we will name the workflow “Connect Razorpay with WhatsApp Cloud API”.
- Click on the Create Workflow button.
- Name your workflow accordingly.
- Select Razorpay as the trigger application.
After naming your workflow, you will need to set the trigger event. Choose Payment Captured from Razorpay as the trigger. This will ensure that the workflow runs every time a payment is successfully captured.
3. Connect Razorpay to Pabbly Connect
To connect Razorpay with Pabbly Connect, you will need to set up a webhook URL. After selecting Razorpay as the trigger, you will see a webhook URL provided by Pabbly Connect. Copy this URL as it will be used to connect Razorpay to the Pabbly platform.
Now, go to your Razorpay account and navigate to Account Settings. Under the Webhooks section, click on Add New Webhook. Paste the copied URL into the designated field and select the event type as Payment Captured. This setup will allow Razorpay to send payment information to Pabbly Connect.
4. Set Up WhatsApp Integration in Pabbly Connect
With Razorpay successfully connected, the next step involves setting up WhatsApp integration. In Pabbly Connect, select the WhatsApp Cloud API as your action application. You will need to add a new connection using your WhatsApp API credentials.
- Enter your WhatsApp API token, phone number ID, and business account ID.
- Map the customer’s phone number from Razorpay’s response.
- Draft your WhatsApp message, including customer details.
After filling in these details, you can send a test message to ensure everything is functioning correctly. Once the test is successful, your workflow is ready to send WhatsApp confirmations for every successful payment captured by Razorpay.
5. Test and Activate Your Workflow
Finally, it is time to test your entire setup. Make a test payment through Razorpay to see if the WhatsApp message is sent correctly. Ensure that the message contains all necessary details such as payment status, customer name, and payment ID.
Once you confirm that the message has been sent successfully, activate your workflow in Pabbly Connect. This setup will now automatically send WhatsApp order confirmations to your customers every time a payment is captured in Razorpay, streamlining your order confirmation process.
