1. Accessing Pabbly Connect for Integration

To start the integration process, you need to access Pabbly Connect. Open your browser and type in pabbly.com to reach the landing page. Here, you can sign in or sign up for a free account to get started with your automation tasks.

Once you’re logged in, you’ll see the Pabbly applications page. Click on the Pabbly Connect option to access the dashboard. This is where you can create and manage your workflows for integrating different applications.

2. Creating a New Workflow in Pabbly Connect

Now that you are in Pabbly Connect, it’s time to create a new workflow. Click on the ‘Create Workflow’ button and name your workflow, for instance, “Automatically Create Pipedrive Deals from Typeform Submission”. Select a folder for organizational purposes, like “Forms Automation”.

  • Click on the ‘Create’ button to initiate the workflow.
  • You will see a box prompting you to choose your trigger application.
  • Select Typeform as your trigger application.

After selecting Typeform, you will need to set the trigger event to “New Entry”. This means that every time a new form submission is made in Typeform, it will trigger this workflow in Pabbly Connect.

3. Connecting Typeform to Pabbly Connect

Next, you need to connect your Typeform account to Pabbly Connect. Click on the ‘Connect’ button and if you don’t have an existing connection, select ‘Add New Connection’. You will be prompted to log into your Typeform account and grant permissions.

Once connected, you will need to select the specific form you want to use from the dropdown menu. For example, choose your “Lead Form”. After selecting the form, click on ‘Save and Send Test Request’ to test the connection.

4. Testing the Webhook Response in Pabbly Connect

After setting up the Typeform connection, you need to perform a test submission to capture the webhook response in Pabbly Connect. To do this, copy the form link and paste it into a new tab. Fill out the form with sample data and submit it.

Once you submit the form, return to Pabbly Connect and check for the webhook response. You should see the details you entered, such as first name, last name, contact number, and email address. This confirms that the connection is working correctly.

5. Adding Pipedrive as an Action Step

Now that you have confirmed the Typeform connection, it’s time to add Pipedrive as the action step in Pabbly Connect. Click on ‘Add New Action Step’ and search for Pipedrive. Select the action event as “Create a Person” and click on ‘Connect’.

  • If you don’t have a connection, select ‘Add New Connection’.
  • You will need to enter your Pipedrive API token, which you can find in your Pipedrive account settings.
  • Paste the API token in the required field and save the connection.

After connecting Pipedrive, you will map the fields from Typeform to Pipedrive. This ensures that the data from each new form submission is automatically populated into the correct fields in Pipedrive.
