1. Accessing Pabbly Connect for Automation

To start automating your JotForm leads to System.io, first, you need to access Pabbly Connect. Open a new tab and type the URL pabbly.com/connect to reach the homepage. Here, you will see options to sign in or sign up for a free account.

2. Creating a Workflow in Pabbly Connect

Once logged into Pabbly Connect, navigate to the workflow page. This is where you will create the automation that connects JotForm and System.io. Click on the option to add a trigger.

Select JotForm as the trigger application.
Choose the event as New Response.
Click on the Connect button to generate a webhook URL.

Copy the generated webhook URL as it will connect JotForm to Pabbly Connect. This URL acts as a bridge for data transfer between the applications.

3. Setting Up JotForm with Pabbly Connect

Head over to your JotForm account and locate the form you want to connect. Click on Settings, then find the Integrations option. Search for Webhooks and select it.

Paste the webhook URL you copied from Pabbly Connect.
Complete the integration setup.

After setting up, publish your form to make it live. When you submit data through the form, it will automatically send the responses to Pabbly Connect for further processing.

4. Connecting System.io to Pabbly Connect

Next, return to Pabbly Connect to set up the action application, which in this case is System.io. Search for System.io and select it as your action application.

Click on Create Contact as the action event. You will need to connect your System.io account by entering your API key. To find your API key, log into System.io, go to Profile and then Settings.

Select MCP and API Keys.
Create a new API key, name it, and copy it.

Paste the API key into Pabbly Connect to establish the connection. This will allow you to create new contacts in System.io based on the data received from JotForm.

5. Mapping Data from JotForm to System.io

With the connection established, it’s time to map the fields from JotForm to System.io in Pabbly Connect. This step ensures that the data from JotForm populates the correct fields in System.io.

For each field in System.io, such as email, first name, last name, and phone number, you can use the mapping feature. Click on the field, select the slash symbol, and choose the corresponding data from the JotForm response.

Map the email address from the JotForm response.
Repeat for first name, last name, and phone number.

Once all fields are mapped, save your workflow. Now, every time a new form is submitted, Pabbly Connect will automatically create a new contact in System.io with the provided details.
